The President of the Supreme Judicial Council, Judge Dr. Faiq Zaidan, received today, Thursday, September 5, 2024, the President of the Board of Directors of the Iraqi Women Judges Association, Judge Taghreed Abdul Majeed, along with board members Judges Ameela Mafroud, Nawar Ubaid, Shaimaa Fathi, and Alia Ali, to discuss several issues related to the work of the Association.
The President of the Council expressed his full support for women judges, emphasizing the importance of empowering them to assume key judicial positions and providing all necessary resources to facilitate their work.
For their part, the members of the Association’s Board conveyed the requests of women judges to the Supreme Judicial Council, and the President of the Council promised to respond to them.
