A delegation from the Iraqi Female Judges Association visits the Presidency of the Nineveh Court of Appeal

A delegation from the Iraqi Female Judges Association visited, on Sunday, the Presidency of the Nineveh Court of Appeal, where they met with the President of the Court, Judge Raed Hamid Muslih, to discuss ways of enhancing cooperation and developing legal work in support of women’s issues.

The delegation was headed by the President of the Association, Judge Taghreed Abdul Majeed, with the participation of several members of the Association and its administrative staff, as part of its efforts to expand institutional partnerships and exchange expertise.

For his part, the President of the Nineveh Court of Appeal praised the role played by the Iraqi Female Judges Association in supporting society and strengthening the presence of women in the judicial field, commending the contributions of female judges in promoting justice and the rule of law.

Both sides emphasized the importance of continuing coordination and joint cooperation, particularly in developing legal capacities, empowering women, and enhancing their role within judicial institutions, in a way that contributes to advancing judicial work and serving society.
