The President of the Supreme Judicial Council, Judge Dr. Faiq Zaidan, stated that the establishment of the Iraqi Women Judges Association is one of our important achievements that demonstrated the ability of Iraqi women to assume responsibility and actively contribute to the judicial system.
His Excellency made these remarks during his attendance today, Monday, March 10, 2025, at the ceremony marking the anniversary of the establishment of the Iraqi Women Judges Association, which coincides with International Women’s Day and the International Day of Women Judges.
He added that “your presence in this field sends a message to the world that Iraqi women are capable of assuming various positions and responsibilities across all sectors. On this occasion, we renew our commitment to continue supporting and caring for women judges by increasing their numbers and promoting them to higher positions, in recognition of their ability to contribute effectively to the judiciary.”
